Unmissable offer for the summer – The Kékfrankos concert series 2024 starts

It is a festive moment walking on a red carpet to the opening performance of this year's Kékfrankos concert series, which starts on June 2nd with "Hollywood Classics" presented by Győr with guaranteed entertainment.

Alex Johansson, the "black belt" conductor of film music concerts, will conduct the outstanding ensemble, the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra again and presents a selection of legendary compositions i.e. by John Williams and Hans Zimmer.

The overture also promises a powerful visual experience, as the audience will experience the most memorable moments from films such as Titanic, Batman, Top Gun, Star Wars, Gladiator and Harry Potter, as well as from Jurassic Park, on a giant screen of the Fertőrákos Quarry and Cave Theatre.

After the film music concert, everyone is already dancing, a crossover production is coming by Disco Symphonic, Melody Maker and the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra.

The symphonic super concert spices up the summer evening of June 29th at the Quarry and Cave Theatre in Fertőrákos with well-known and unforgettable hits from the 90s. On this grandiose musical journey, the hits will be performed in an unusual way in the form of medley, bounding together well-known melodies under the competent leadership of Márton Rácz.

There must certainly be one date etched in the successful history of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra: the year 2009, when the orchestra toured through the Far East and Europe with the legendary Italian Oscar-winning film composer and conductor, Ennio Morricone.

At the final concert of the Kékfrankos concert series on the 24th of August the ensemble will perform from the tribute album We all love Ennio Morricone, which preserves the eternal musical greatness of the master.
